Carven Resort 2012

My favourite French revived brand, Carven  created an amazing Resort 2012 collection. There is a slight ode to Switzerland which can been seen in the printed dresses and shorts as well as a sort of dirndl cut in the jacket, while their famous bowed back shoes make the look come together. 

I wish there was some swimwear though!!

CHLOÉ Resort 2012

I am heading back to Paris on the 9th and all I can think about is how that mint green dress from Chloe's Resort 2012 collection would perfectly compliment my wardrobe......

The focus of this collection was the classics: wide leg pants, bow blouses, trapeze dresses, and their even famous multi buckle shoes 

Balmain Resort 2012

Olivier Rousteing's first collection for Balmain was an overall hit. Working under Decarnin for two years, Oliver's resort collection stays true to a rock n' roll vibe. Using Elvis in Las Vegas as in inspiration, there was plenty of gold and chains. The collection had some of the best jackets I've seen in awhile.
