I am heading back to Paris on the 9th and all I can think about is how that mint green dress from Chloe's Resort 2012 collection would perfectly compliment my wardrobe......

The focus of this collection was the classics: wide leg pants, bow blouses, trapeze dresses, and their even famous multi buckle shoes 

Shift of Designers at Chloe

Chloé has announced today via tweeter feed and a statement on their website that starting from June 1st, current creative director Hannah MacGibbon will be replaced by new designer Clare Waight Keller. Clare has previous experience working with Pringle, however she left the label to concentrate on family. CEO Geoffroy de la Bourdonnaye commented on the change:

“We are grateful to Hannah for her contribution and commitment to Chloé, her considerable talents will be missed; we are proud to count Hannah among the hall of fame of great designers who have marked the history of Chloé since 1952. I wish Hannah well in her new projects.”

In a statement, MacGibbon thanked the company: “I will always have a deep affection for Chloé and am very grateful to the company for having given me this opportunity.” Clare also released a comment, stating that she is “thrilled” to join the team: “I am thrilled to be joining one of the most prestigious design houses in Paris, Chloé is a brand that conveys a beautiful sense of effortless femininity and vivacious sophistication that I look forward to continuing into the next era.”
