First Day on the Beach

First day back home on the beach, it was so nice! Not going to lie, I felt a little pale from the lack of sun I was getting in Italy, hopefully I will gain a little colour back soon. My swimsuit is from an Italian designer, Cherie's Flakes . Each suit is handmade and assembled with no stitching! 

Speaking of Zimmermann...

I wish summer could be here already! Florence is not getting warm enough yet...and with all these cute bathing suits- I can hardly control myself. I have always loved Zimmermann's swim line, and since I just did a previous post about their Summer 2011/12, I thought I would include some of my favourites from their collection available now.

My ultimate favourite one is the first one! Too bad my birthday is so far away...

“My inspiration started with a piece of amazing white-on-white Mexican embroidery that I found. I wanted to work with a mix of crisp whites and naturals to create a base of calm and tranquility in the collection. I had this idea of idyllic summers and the feeling of long, warm days. I love to think back to summers where everything seemed so bright and so beautiful, and the colors of everything just seemed to pop. The collection is called Halcyon Days.”
