As I only had one class today, I decided to take the opportunity to go and see a museum. My friend Angela and I made our way to Palazzo Pitti, which was once home to the Medici's. It is incredibly massive and I was slightly jealous that they had all of these chandeliers...
Inside, we were not allowed to take pictures- but I managed to snag a few when the attendants weren't looking. Personally I enjoyed the chandeliers the most, but there was art and sculptures and rooms draped in gold- all of which ended up looking the same after you passed through the fifth room.
However, there was a wing dedicated to costumes and fashion, which both Angela and I did enjoy. There was clothing from all periods and accessories too. We slightly zipped through the museum and didnt really read too much of the information on the plaques, as I said..things tended to look the same after awhile.
After the museum we met up randomly with some other girls from our class and went to Zara, where I offered some help to a fellow classmate on her style :)
