Weekday SS'11

Weekday is a diffusion line of the Swedish label, Cheap Monday (best known for their jeans). All of the garments are very easy to wear and full of solids, which follows the quintessential Cheap Monday theme- basic. There is one floral print and the hemlines are long- paying homage to what the reminds me of the 90's.

ATHÉ COLLECTION S/S '11

When first glancing at this lookbook, the thought of it being a spring/summer wasn't the first thing that came to my mind. I was thinking- where are the bright happy colours? The silks and the light airy fabrics?! Well those followed the later pictures (silly me...). But honestly, the first couple of outfits, I am not too sure I would wear in the summer, coming from the Caribbean and living in shorts all year round- you would never wear a leather jacket in the summer. However anywhere else in the world (for the most part) one could wear one, most likely in the evening...or so I'm hoping- or else you aren't anywhere too warm! The collection consists of basic colours and easy prints, its very easy to wear, simple and sophisticated. Did I also mention it is Vanessa Bruno's diffusion line!
