Last week I had found an event that was posted on facebook- Ben and Jerry's free cone day. I immediately searched to see if it was going to be in Florence, and lucky enough...it was! So today was the day that I personally had been waiting for. It oddly started at 5 pm and ran until 8 pm. Most of my class made the trek to the Duomo, where the Ben and Jerrys was located. There was already a line, however it didn't take long and it moved very quick. I decided to get cookie dough ice cream, and in typical Amy fashion- I went back again...this time opting for the baked Alaska ( all I know is that it had white chocolate in it). Unfortunately it began to get cold, so the idea of going back to try another flavour did cross my mind, but the sky began to look a bit grey. We are supposed to be getting cooler weather, with some rain- this should be interesting since my rain-boots are at home...and my walk is close to 30mins.
