Firenze Girono 23

Today I decided to go to the library and take out a book that I have wanted to look at for awhile. Its "Drape Drape" by Hisako Sato. You cant really read it (unless you happen to know Japanese!), rather it comes with patterns that you can make things from. In the book there are dresses, tops, pants, and all in ones with patterns ranging from small to large. This might be a weekend project for me when I am home, unfortunately I don't have a sewing machine here and I have done way too much hand sewing in the past...

Firenze Girono 9

As it was Saturday, I decided to be lazy and sleep in. I didn't actually leave my apt until a little after 3. For the past 9 days that I have been here, the weather has been perfect, (besides the cold mornings) its been sunny and there has been no sign of rain- yet....
I made my way to the Centre to look around and do some people watching. As it is the weekend, Florence gets crowded and the amount of people is a bit overwhelming. I tend to get really annoyed when a slow person walks in-front of me, and this is a very common occurrence- so what normally would take me ten minutes to walk to, takes me close to 20.
I decided I would go to back to the San Lorenzo market to browse. I ended up finding this little booth with used books where I bought a book on Italian verbs and tenses (it was 1 euro, so I thought it was worth it). At the stand, they also had some locally made books, I fell in love with this one pink swirled cover book (pictured above) and the vendor told me he would give it to me for 1 euro as well. Quite excited with my purchases I made my way home to read over the book and start learning Italian verbs!
