Firenze Girono 38,39
My friend Lance from Canada came to Europe with his college basketball team- Trinity Western. They are travelling around and playing basketball (Rome, Florence, somewhere on the east coast of Italy, then Croatia). Lance messaged me last week and said that they were going to be stopping in Florence for a couple of days, so we decided to meet up. I showed them around a bit (tried not to bore them too much) and we decided to go for apertivo- both nights. They all liked the idea of eating as much as they wanted and took advantage of that :). Anyhow, we had a great time and I think they enjoyed Florence.
They did not however see the Jersey Shore- which they were searching for (if you didnt know the MTV show is filming here)
When I was walking home on Thursday night, as usual weird things happen to me. This time it involved Yuekke (I had to ask him how he spelt his name), a guy from Japan who is here studying English, he asked me if I had a honey (and to be honest, I completely blanked and didnt know what he was talking about, until he pointed to his ring finger). I told him I did and he looked disappointed, he then stopped and said, "I must go now",gave me a hug---for waaaaay too long...and ran away
Only in Florence...
