Photographer Alvaro Sanchez- Montanes was inspired by an article he had read about abandoned diamond mines in Namibia. He promised himself that he would one day visit this place- Kolmanskop- a ghost town in southern Namibia that was once a rich diamond mining village. His photography makes one feel like they are in a surreal dream.
